Tomorrow in Novosibirsk Trans-Siberian Art Festival opens with a concert dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Philharmonic
"Interest in the Trans-Siberian Art Festival this year is phenomenal. I associate this fact with the magnificent program and impressive composition of the performers. I note that this year we significantly reduced the price of tickets, which allowed more people and visitors to attend concerts of the most important cultural project of Novosibirsk region, which is dedicated to its 80th anniversary, - notes the Director General of Novosibirsk Philharmonic Beibut Mukhamedin. - Special attention of our listeners was caused by the concert of Vladimir Spivakov and the State Chamber Orchestra "Moscow Virtuosi" - tickets were sold out for three weeks. This phenomenon is quite understandable - Vladimir Spivakov and his collective are some of the most famous Russian musicians who set trends in modern classical performance".
The concert on March 15th, at which Novosibirsk Philharmonic Orchestra will be conducted by American conductor Lawrence Foster, will present a program of American music. The soloist is French pianist Dana Ciocarlie. The concert will be dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Novosibirsk State Philharmonic Society, the largest concert organization in Russia, which has been the main partner of Trans-Siberian Art Festival since the first year of its conduct.
Currently tickets for eight of the twelve concerts of the festival at its main venue, at Arnold Katz State Concert Hall, are completely sold out.
