On February 25th Vadim Repin will officially open the British-Russian cross-year of language and literature with his performance at London’s Royal Festival Hall. Vadim Repin and the Philharmonia Orchestra conducted by Frank Strobel will carry out the world premiere of a unique project – a new symphonic score for Violin and Orchestra by Aphrodite Raickopoulou. It was written as the new soundtrack for the silent film from 1927, "Love", based on Tolstoy’s novel "Anna Karenina". Greta Garbo performed the main role in this movie. The new music will be performed during a live screening of the film.

On February 24th, Arnold Kats State Concert Hall will hold the program "Howl's Moving Castle", dedicated to the music from Hayao Miyazaki animated films. Chamber Orchestra conducted by Kotaro Kimura (Japan) will perform together with singer Satoko Ota (Japan), along with an actor of the theater "Globus" Lavrenty Sorokin, who will act as an artist of declamation. The program will include works by Joe Hisaishi from such famous Miyazaki animated films as "Spirited Away," "Princess Mononoke," "My Neighbor Totoro", "Kiki's delivery service", "Laputa: Castle in the Sky", "Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind", and, of course, from "Howl’s Moving Castle".

On February 19th, Novosibirsk Philharmonic will open a new series of concerts "Winners of XV International Competition named after P.I. Tchaikovsky".  Within this series there will be 6 concerts, where the following musicians come on the stage - Alexander Ramm (cello, Moscow), Dmitry Masleev (piano, Moscow), Ariunbaatar Ganbaatar (baritone, Mongolia), Lucas Geniušas (piano, Lithuania-Russia). The performance of Alexander Ramm (cello, Moscow) and Chamber Orchestra conducted by Alim Shakhmametiev will open the series.
20 february
On 28th of February Novosibirsk Philharmonic Orchestra will set off for big tour through Europe, dedicated to 60th anniversary of the collective. Its culmination is going to be the performance on the stage of the hall Konzerthaus in Vienna. The tour will be ended with the first in the history of orchestra performance in the Concert Hall of Mariinsky Theatre.

On 5th of February Novosibirsk Philharmonic will celebrate its 79 years. The presentation of Philharmonic Award "Golden Key" will be held this evening. It is traditionally awarded to persons who have made a contribution to the cultural development of Novosibirsk and glorified our city. The award dates back to 1998, and during the years of its existence more than 80 people became the winners of it.

On January 27th, on birthday of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Novosibirsk Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Ekhtibar Akhmedov on Arnold Kats State Concert Hall performs a program dedicated to the 260th anniversary of the composer. Soloists are musicians of the orchestra, Honored Artist of Russia Vasily Sokolov (horn) and the winner of All-Russian and International competitions Ivan Shikhanov (flute).

Philharmonic’s revenues in 2015 compared with 2014 year increased by 15.6%. Number of philharmonic concerts’ audience has increased by 16.8% in the past year and amounted to 401 016 people. During the year Arnold Kats State Concert Hall held 225 concerts, attended by 143 424 people, Philharmonic Chamber Hall held 279 concerts with 66 938 people respectively. Along with performances on Philharmonic’s own areas, its creative collectives gave concerts on the stage of Concert hall of the House of science SO RAN, Palaces of culture in Novosibirsk districts, middle schools of general education and all the districts of Novosibirsk Region.

National newspaper "Musical Review" announced the winners of the annual award in the field of academic music "Events and Persons. Rating of 2015". Trans-Siberian Art Festival was recognized by experts as the festival of the year. In 2016, the project will bring stars of world music together on the stage of the Novosibirsk Philharmonic for the third time. The artistic director of the festival is the star of the world classical music, Novosibirsk native, violinist Vadim Repin. The national newspaper "Musical Review" prize was awarded to the artistic director of Trans-Siberian Art Festival Vadim Repin and to executive director of the festival Oleg Bely.
